North Star 2000 have completed the redevelopment of the former public house, The British Queen.
The scheme consisting of 7 apartments has been named Lennie House after the developers grandson and the lucky residents have a high specification new build to call home.
7 residential apartments over 5 floors with an internal lift and ample cycle storage.
All of our new homes are designed to achieve very high standards in terms of space, light, external amenity, acoustics and sustainability.
All of these units are dual aspect and will meet or exceed GLA LHDG standards and Lifetime Homes Standards.
When developing the appearance of the building our Architects conducted an in depth study of the materials and colours used in the surrounding area.
The results guided our choice of materials to complement the neighbouring buildings.
As a nod to the former Public House which previously sat on this site, we will use a glazed brick for the ground floor elevations, with a paler brick which sits in harmony with the area for the first, second and third floor.
The top floor will be finished with elegant and illuminating Azengar Zinc Cladding. This is to help minimize the visual impact of the top floor.
We will also be incorporating a London Living Roof on the roof, along with PV Panels to contribute to the ecology of the area.
All flats will benefit from a contemporary and high spec internal finish with Krieder kitchens and Porcelanosa bathrooms as standard.
